Zac Brouillette is currently the director of sports performance at IAP, an all encompassing, high performance training facility.

Prior to his position with IAP, Brouillette was the assistant director for strength and conditioning at Ohio University. Brouillettecame to Ohio University in August 2011 to assist the Bobcats football team in the design and implementation of a year round strength and conditioning program, while directing the speed, strength, and conditioning programs for the men’s basketball, softball and baseball programs. He plays a major role in aiding in the implementation of the strength and conditioning program installed by Ohio’s Director of Strength and Conditioning, Sonny Sano.

Prior to his time in Athens, Brouillette served as a graduate assistant at Iowa State University. While with the Cyclones, Brouillette was responsible for the design and implementation of the year-round strength training programs for all competing areas of the men’s and women’s track and field units throughout the 2009 season.

Brouillette spent the next two seasons in Ames aiding head football strength coach Yancy Mcknight in the development of the year-round speed, strength and conditioning programs utilized by the Cyclone football team. Brouillette spent time training athletes on the weight room floor as well as aiding athletes in specific strength deficiency needs and student-athlete nutrition education.

Brouillette was a two-sport standout as an undergraduate at Iowa State. He was member of the Iowa State football team as well as a school record holder and top thrower on the Cyclone Track and Field team, competing in the shot put, hammer throw and indoor weight throw.

Brouillette is certified by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa). He earned his bachelor’s degree, specializing in exercise science, from Iowa State in the fall of 2008. Brouillette also wrapped up his master’s degree at Iowa State in summer of 2011, specializing in the areas of nutrition and exercise physiology.
